I tried to do handstands for you.

I can't stop listening to this album. (Chairlift-Does You Inspire You)
Download it. It's kind of pop/electronic/indie but I find it to be different.

Here's a song from it..
Chairlift-Bruises. Yes, it's the song from the Ipod commercial.

So much going on!

Philadelphia is all a buzz right now! The streets are filled with excitement and anxiousness more than likely because of two major events: The Philadelphia Philles and the upcoming 2008 Presidential election.

The PHILS.
Swarms of people walking around in red shirts!
Tonight they could take the series, after a very irritating rain delay on Monday. 3 innings left until a possible win! SO EXCITING!!!!! (Admittingly, I'm not a huge sports fan, and I've only ever been to a few Philles games but whatever!)
If they win (which they WILL) you can find me (intoxicated) in the sea of the Philadelphia populous on Broad Street.
Here's what happened after they won the NL Championship!

Let's break the William Penn curse tonight! Shall we?!

ALSO, I cannot believe election day is less than a week from now! This is the first time I am able to vote and feel so honored to be a part of it all. Especially, when this election is, in my opinion, the most important in my 20 year's of life. I sincerely hope everyone votes. Change is coming, ya'll.

PS. What should I be for Halloween?! I have like 2 days to throw something together. Story of my life.

Oh, and I saw this new The Cool Kids video the other day. It's for a song called 'Delivery Man.'
It is dope!
Love those guys. They picked the right name for themselves, because indeed, they are cool. I'm tryna date one of them. Not going to lie (like black guys in flannel, count me in.)
They're actually performing at the Campus Philly Kickoff thing going on at the parkway on Saturday. I can't go, but you should.

I've got a case of the Munday's.

SHE IS SO BEAUTIFUL.

So, one of my most favoritest ladies of the music world, miss Jenny Lewis' (of Rilo Kiley) new solo album releases tomorrow! She has been an icon of mine since early high school both musically and fashion-wise. I've seen her live 3 times, twice with Rilo Kiley and once for her first solo album at the Sanctuary of the Church. Lucky for me, I get paid so that will definitely be purchased by Wednesday. It's called 'Acid Tongue' and I've heard the title track, and I really and truly love it. I hope this is as great as her first solo album.

New M.I.A. and Rye Rye:

Anyone who knows me is aware that I have somewhat of an unhealthy obsession with M.I.A. She says she's retired, which I highly doubt and hope not, after her recent success with "Paper Planes." Anyway, here's a new song with Rye Rye.
I don't necessarily LOVE it, but it's
growing on me. It hits pretty hard. Check it.
M.I.A. and Rye Rye- Tic Toc

Also, on a side note:

Our potential Vice-President everyone. Well, let us hope not. Someone tell me this shit's photoshopped? It has to be..right?

Introductions.

Hey, I'm Jackie. I'm a student at Temple University majoring in Broadcast, Telecommunications and Mass Media.

So, I decided to jump aboard the blogging phenomena. I had been meaning to start one for a while but never got it going. So, here it is. Let's see if I keep up with it. Shall we?

As for now, I'm planning on posting about my random thoughts and findings, but definitely lots and lots of music, too.

Bare with me if it's minimal for a while. I'm trying to learn all the Html tricks and etc.

Enjoy & comment!
